Situated in 85 acres of beautiful Devon countryside, Shebbear College is a thriving day and boarding school for boys and girls aged 2 - 18 (Nursery through to Upper Sixth).
As a proudly small school, we know every pupil as an individual. This allows us to offer small class sizes, personalised support and the chance for each child to develop their talents with confidence.
Life here is busy, filled with academic purpose, co-curricular activity, creative discovery and outdoor adventure. Our Personalised Learning Department supports pupils with additional learning needs, including high ability learners, SEND and EAL students, helping them reach their academic potential in a supportive, structured environment.

Creative & Performing Arts
Creative and Performing Arts are central to life at Shebbear College, with annual Senior and Middle School productions alongside many plays and concerts, including Les Misérables, West Side Story, Sister Act, The Lion King, Mary Poppins and Matilda.
Sport & Adventure
Our pupils receive excellent coaching in major sports including rugby, football, hockey, netball, cricket and athletics. We value enjoyment, character and skill development while challenging our most able pupils and providing opportunities for all to represent us.
Beyond The Classroom
Our 360@Sheb co-curricular programme offers over 70 clubs on and off campus, from surfing and horse riding to cookery and climbing. Pupils also take part in the Ten Tors Challenge and the Duke of Edinburgh Award, promoting teamwork and resilience.

SCHOLARSHIPS
At Shebbear College we offer a range of Scholarships to talented pupils interested in joining our Form 1 (Year 7), Form 3 (Year 9) or Lower Sixth, awarded for outstanding academic ability or a talent and passion for Art, Music, Sport or Drama & the Performing Arts. Scholarships consist of a reduction on school fees and access to our Scholars’ Masterclasses. Our Scholarship programme provides pupils with opportunities to stretch themselves, pursue their passions and make a meaningful contribution to school life.
